Get Eisteddfod-Ready with Confidence & Fun!

You’ve booked your child’s Eisteddfod sections—now let’s help them shine on stage!

Our supportive and fun-filled workshop is the perfect way to build confidence and polish performance skills ahead of the Gunnedah Eisteddfod.

No prep needed before the workshop—just book in and we’ll take care of the rest! If your child doesn’t yet have material to perform, don’t worry—Larnie will provide it during the session and work closely with them to prepare something they feel proud of.

Each day begins with a Speech & Drama Vocal Warm-Up Class from 9:00am–10:30am, where all students come together to energize and have fun,

Then, each student will enjoy a 45-minute one-on-one session during the day—tailored to their needs, giving them space to grow and thrive without the pressure of performing in front of others.

When booking, simply select the ticket with your preferred individual time slot. Each time slot is limited to one student—so grab yours early!

      About Larnie

Larni Christie | Speech and Drama

Larni is a Graduate of University of Queensland and has a bachelor of Arts majoring in Japanese and Drama, she also holds a Dip Ed from University of New England. Larni has been teaching 24 years, and began her school teaching career in Muswellbrook primary schools.

 

Larni started teaching speech and drama at Gunnedah Conservatorium in 2015 and is a passionate advocate of community theatre. Larni has directed Secret Bridesmaids Business (2017), Chicago (2018), The Narcissist (2019) and “Covid We Are Over It” (2020) for Gunnedah Conservatorium.


Larni is a Specialist Drama Classroom teacher. She has been the recipient of two NSW Department of Education awards in her teaching career for her contribution to the Performing Arts. In 2011 and 2016 she was awarded “Excellence in Teaching” in Education Week.

 

Larni is a Life Member of the Muswellbrook Amateur Theatrical Society, for which she has directed, produced, choreographed, costumed, and designed local productions in conjunction with the Muswellbrook Shire Concert Band for more than 18 years.

 

She loves teaching and has focus on promoting student’s confidence through Stagecraft and Good Speech. She teaches her students Poetry, Prose Reading, Shakespeare, Mime, Communication and Role-Play whilst sharing a love of theatre and playfulness. She also enjoys working with fellow staff and having the opportunity to find creative inspiration through watching the work of others.
