Overview

Established in 1987, the Gunnedah Conservatorium is a not for profit community organisation which strives to bring a high standard of music and performance education to the Gunnedah Shire. The Gunnedah Conservatorium offers a range of learning opportunities for students as young as six months right through to retirees.

Our skilled teachers are trained to encourage students to develop their skills in performance and to stimulate creative expression, self-esteem and social interaction through music. We provide lessons in a safe learning environment and all our teachers have working with children checks.

Gunnedah Conservatorium is part of a regional network of 17 community-based music education conservatoriums designed to bring music to regional Australia.

Our services include:

  • Instrumental music programs
  • Vocal training
  • Musical performance
  • Speech and Drama
  • Early Childhood Music

The Gunnedah Conservatorium also hosts a variety of musical and dramatic events designed to bring to the Gunnedah community a cultural experience usually only seen in big cities. Our upcoming events can be viewed via our website and tickets are available online.
