With careers spanning Australia’s performing arts industry, Gunnedah-born boys Peter Silver and Christopher Snape return to where it all began for an unforgettable evening of music, storytelling and light.

IF I ONLY HAD A BRAIN is a laugh-out-loud and deeply personal concert celebrating the songs, the triumphs and the unforgettable moments that have shaped their lives in the theatre. Featuring music made famous by Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz, Tina Arena, John Farnham, Crowded House, Édith Piaf and Kermit the Frog, Peter Silver shares the soundtrack to a life lived in pursuit of creativity, purpose and belonging.

From the hopeful optimism of If I Only Had A Brain and Giants in the Sky to the heartfelt reflections of Tenterfield Saddler, Please Don’t Ask Me and My Country, each tune becomes another chapter in an evening that is both hysterically funny and profoundly poignant.

Acclaimed lighting designer Christopher Snape transforms Gunnedah Town Hall through light, where music and illumination become equal partners in telling the story.

Accompanied on piano by one of Australia’s most respected Musical Directors, Bev Kennedy, and featuring special guest artists to be announced soon.
