Gunnedah Youth Band Night is a relaxed, alcohol-free live music event showcasing talented young musicians and bands.
This Fright Night edition is bringing a spooky twist to the stage, with live music, creepy costumes and plenty of eerie fun. Expect a night packed with local young performers, original music, crowd favourites and a few frightful surprises along the way.
Whether you're jumping on stage, supporting your friends, discovering local talent, or simply looking for a fun night out, this is your chance to experience great live music in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Designed and delivered by the Gunnedah Youth Band Night Committee — young people, for young people aged 12–25. Supported by Gunnedah Conservatorium.
What to expect:
- Live performances by young bands and solo artists

- Costumes encouraged — but completely optional!
- A relaxed, alcohol-free environment

Gunnedah Youth Band Nights are run by young people for young people, supported by the Gunnedah Conservatorium and E.S Emojong Consultancy.
They aim to provide aspiring and emerging musicians with a safe and supportive space to hone their craft, showcase their talents, and practice live performances of original and cover songs in an alcohol-free environment. It’s also a great opportunity for young people to enjoy a fun Saturday night out with their friends!
